Godrej DEI Lab: Driving Inclusion Through India Included on Campus
The India Included on Campus program, spearheaded by the Godrej DEI Lab, addresses one of the most critical priorities in Indian corporate culture—recruiting, retaining, and empowering more women professionals. Participants are tasked with researching and presenting innovative solutions to help companies create more inclusive and balanced workplaces.
Building Future Leaders with Inclusion at the Core
Commenting on the initiative, Parmesh Shahani, Head of Godrej DEI Lab and author of Queeristan, emphasized, “For India to truly thrive, inclusion must move from a ‘nice-to-have’ to be recognized as a core driver of growth and innovation. With this edition, we are encouraging students of SIBM Pune to think boldly about how workplaces can hire, retain, and empower more women. The goal is not just to solve today’s challenges but to build a generation of leaders who see inclusion as inseparable from leadership itself.”
